Judge my idea please?

Ok well my business is pretty much a traditional ebook selling idea... I have a ebook i've written its the 'Pefect Ball-Handling - 90 Day Program' and I'm selling it for $20. I know the ebook is pretty much the most important part of the business and I've taken alot of time perfecting it and its great!

I have created a website to sell it on but I just need to get a domain name and its going to be a .com. The payments are going to be through clickbank and I am going to offer 3 other ebooks I have written for free with the purchase. I am going to market on the basketball/streetball forums and also I have made an ad to advertise it and I will put it on youtube with a link to it on the site itself and in the marketing on forums.

What do you think? Any advise you can give me would be appreciated because this is my first try but I know quite a bit about e-commerce. Thanks

i wrote a couple ebooks and its a good idea but a HUGE part of all of this is the Ad Copy for your sales site

E-books market are so big. I hope you can write a decent article that can compete with others. There are free ebook articles in ezinearticles.com though.

rpermana-there are no other ebooks on the same topic as mine and the basketball ebook market is very small.

anyway, for ebook, generally, they offer their articles for $25 - $30.

for starter, submit an article to ezinearticles.com . Then place a link to your product / website at the end of it.

You could write a shorter book or maybe a set of short instructional videos and give it away for free when someone orders the e-book. That generally works pretty well, ups the conversion rates.

yeah a free gift, along with your product is a proven "trick" to get conversions, offer a newsletter or something too, cause it make you look even more "big time"

Good on ya man, you remind me when I was 17 selling ebooks on ebay for a buck lol..
For online advertising I would recommend Adsense as it will target people who are interested in the ebook to your website, maybe also offer an affiliate program with the ebook,. eg. let people sell the ebook for you!! (they keep a cut of the profits)
Also youtube is legendary at this kind of stuff.. set up some ball videos on youtube/put a link to your site and magically youll get targeted visitors to your site

Word of advise son, don't give up. the ebook market is very saturated.. you must make your ebook title catchy/some graphics to draw attention to your product and ensure sales
