The site has been online for 45 days and I am not happy from the currant web traffic to it. About 90% comes from my google ads and it accounts for 0% of the sales yes that’s right 0% I need some good advice on how to increase quality traffic to my site. Here is what I have done so far:
The most difficult part of the marketing is bringing quality traffic in to the site. There is no hard & fast rule for the success. But first you need to determined who are your target audience & then where to find them. Next what will attract them to visit your site. Actually nobody ask these basic question before they approach to the marketing. Most people buy some common ebook about site marketing but don’t know how to use them. You can Download this E-BOOK(its free) which described different aspect of web marketing. But as a whole you must stick with the basics.

    Merry Christmas

Sure you can. I've never had to presell my customers with articles and such, and I've had over 1,000 customers in the past 4 months.

The very first thing you have to do is make sure your traffic is truly targeted. That's all part of the presell.

In your advertising headline state exactly what you do with a benefit-laden headline.

We Offer Name Brand Electronics At 30% off!

That's just an example, but do you see my point?

Next, you should have a landing page that explains the advantages of doing business with you as opposed to your competitors.

Your landing page also needs to have a compelling headline.

    To summarize:

    1. Make sure you have laser-targeted traffic.

    2. Give that traffic a compelling reason to do business with you. This could be in the form of testimonials, ect.

Personally, I would look at your most successful competitor and use their website as a business model and mimic their website design, style, layout, selling style, etc....in addition to the other things that I mentioned.

Note, I said mimic, not copy. You never want to actually copy or steal someone else's idea. But it's okay to do something similar. It's okay to mimic.

i do not know if this will help - but I was reading somethings about adsense and placements - and I use some of their techniques for my ebook selling - for example

place your adsense below after each article and right before the about author, after reading the article and if the user is inspired and wants to lrean more the user will click on the adsense instead of the authors home page

I use this same technique with ebook selling, its like the article is preselling my products for me, since ur items are more physical you can create a short description and put a small item icon witha buy it now buttin

You probably want to look into a way to increase your sites traffic by the most efficient means. There are several ways to do this. One is to approach it the way most online small businesses do and that is to setup what I call a sales pitch process. i.e. Ad's > Opt in page > Email marketing > Sales Letter > follow up emails > Monitize...

The other and The best way to attract quality traffic in my opinion is to provide what people are searching in the major search engine's. In other words focus on your sites content fist, then the traffic will follow. This takes some patience but from what I've see it is the only way to build a viable long term small Inet business.
