How I create "juicy content."

You hear a lot about the importance of writing "linkable" content.

I recently published a survey, with great success.

Here's how:
1. Used a topic my audience (car detailers) would be interested in: a survey of their customers' opinions on price, quality, etc.
2. Promoted the survey in message boards (BMW message boards, specifically).
3. Offered a prize: $30 gift cert to a random participant.

Result:
I got 100 responses in about 2 days. Used a free wordpress plugin called "Surveys." I published the results on 3 car detailing related forums. Because it included useful content, I was able to post a link to my main site without mods removing it.

Total visits to my site: about 350.

In adsense terms, that would cost about $700!

This all took about 2.5 hours of my time.
