Hi,

I am new to being an entrepreneur,for many years I have been thinking of starting a business but did not have a clue what to start but I stumbled up on this forum and I got motivated to put my plan into action.

Basically I have an idea to start a website,but the website concept is being used as a section of a local newspaper.(I had thought about this even before the section started appearing in the newspaper)

How can I determine if it will have any legal implications, if I use the concept to start my website.

Also how will I generate revenue from running the website?

Come up with a unique name and you should be fine. Can't copyright a concept, only possibly the implementation.

basically the concept is people give their opinion and other people respond to it.
quiet simple but it attracts lots of attention.

How can I earn revenue from this kind of website.

ads could be one significant way to earn money from a website like this. however, after you put the finishing touches on your initial website; don't expect substantial ROI for a couple of months at least. Experts say between 60-90 a website should start having a positive cash flow. Good luck with your plans though...I would read it.
