From $0 - $100+ a day!

Hey guys, when I first joined this forum back in 2005, I was lost and willing to learn newbie who's very naive. I didn't spend much time after that, in 2006-2007 I didn't even use much Internet at all.
2008, I was testing some scripts, buying scripts like job search script, to start my own job search website. I then learned about backlinks and seo, and did all that myself from what I learnt, and have managed to get top ranking for many job search related keywords on google.
2009 I started my online business, and I was making $4k-$6k a month working just 2 hours a week, because I had traffic coming in, and I don't do much work other than sending the products to my customers. However, beginning of this year I stopped the business, because of faulty batch of machines my supplier ripped me off.
2010, I started working with adsense, and testing many things. I started with $1 a day from adsense, then few months later, I'm currently on $95 as of today, which is my highest ever from adsense alone. I'm also making $50 a week from clickbank.

Now, I have many other plans which will make me $500 a day, doing other things and offline marketing, working just few hours a week. And next year I will launch an ebook targeting to offline, alongside with online. And I will also create a great marketplace for everyone, which hasn't been introduced yet, although a similar idea has been online at the moment and it's doing great.


I suggest, if you want to achieve great things, learn about seo as it will convert a lot for you, bringing in free traffics. PPC I have yet to try much, but it's good way of investing if you really know what you're doing.
Learn learn and learn more, read what other people have been typing and teaching.

By end of this year, I'll be looking to make $5k to $10k from online marketing alone.. I'm excited and can't wait for the time, where I will achieve great things, traveling and living comfortably. Then I'll invest some of my earnings back into more online ventures, some in shares.


Anyone starting out, don't be afraid of making mistakes, and in Internet marketing, the more mistakes you make, the more knowledgable you'll get. As long as you learn from your mistakes, you'll be making a killing in 3 years time, or shorter. Many people don't learn, that's their mistake. Or they're too afraid to try new things.. Life is all about learning and trying, making mistakes and don't be afraid to stand your ground and be different from everybody else - that is the true way of an entrepreneur.

Hi there, just a quick question..

Back in 2005, when you first joined. Did you have a ton of knowledge of computers? Like programming, or web design and whatnot? Or did you basically start from the basic, knowing the basics of computer, and just learning as you went?

Congratulations on your success, David!! Lots of people give up when they discover that you really can't be a millionaire by next Tuesday, like the "gurus" said! Internet marketing is hard, and it takes alot of patience to succeed. Glad to see that you stuck with it.

As you've realized, SEO is a great thing, and there's alot of people who just don't know a thing about it, or don't know how to do it properly. Having that knowledge already puts you one step ahead of your competitors.

I agree that people expect instant success with internet ventures. Honestly it sounds like you picked it up in 2008 and now you are successful....that's pretty quick in terms of average timeline. Took me much longer but good things come to those who wait.
