I saw something about a website called twiends. I haven't looked into it but I think it's something like if you visit other people's FB pages and like them, they will like yours back. I don't know if this would help you or if it's something you wouldn't be interested in. Just throwing it out there.

Its for Brand Building
I'm thinking out loud here... just started thinking this way. If you are trying to mass build fans (like people did email addresses years ago) and you are getting fans that have no interest in your product or service (they are not potential customers) won't you actually be doing you brand a negative favor?
Don't get me wrong I bought into the hype of buying 10,000 fans a few months ago. Then I realized that the service that was doing this was actually spamming to get the fans. And now I see the same fake profile harassing all my real fans and friends with countless new pages.
This is basically spam! People are already tuning these people out and the pages related to them.
Services like are actually hurting your business...

They may be able to deliver you a ton of fans but they are not fans that will every buy anything from you. Plus once you get on one of these companies lists you and all your friends get bombarded with fan page requests. To make matters worse they are circling through the exact same people over and over again. So if you get one of these fans that same person has probably likes 20 different pages that these services are selling. Not to mention half the people are from India.. what good does that do?
Again.. I used these services and other systems to develop tons of fans/followers... the reality is these things are like email address... I would have a 1000 real naturally occurring email addresses then 10000000 purchased ones.
Don't get caught up in the hype... you are only hurting your brand by mass building. Let it happen naturally and you'll be better off.

Quality over quantity, what good are socially generated leads if no one follows through with your product/service? work on generating quality content and delivering it to your target market.
The natural way is just advertise your page through Facebook Advertisement.
Once you got a REAL person "LIKE" your page, all of his/her friends will see it and curious about your page, it will be like a viral marketing.
Ok , If you need your brand promotion then firstly you get the interesting traffic to you face-book page by searching the peoples in other like pages of same theme . For example if you serve some services . Then you should search the pages of same services in the face book called as competitors page and there you can ask people for liking your page
Having fans is important for this reason, us humans are reactive to what others are doing. With that being said imagine you come along a face book page with no likes.....your likley to just move on because you think if nI one else cares why would I? So initial likes are important to gain imo.
Btw I read your blog and I like the way it sounds. I particularly likes the programming post, check out my blog and let me know what you think.

You should do like YPA does and post statuses like "Like this status to be entered to win a free hosting package"... People will definitely like these kinds of statuses!
