Did you know: 17th Nov was declared as National Unfriend Day by Jimmy Kimmel

YES, that's true... Jimmy Kimmel declared 17th Nov as the National Unfriend Day, he says that Facebook is ‘cheapening Friendship’ by allowing to add as many friends you want.

Here, Jimmy is only concerned about the Social aspect of Facebook, he overlooked the fact that Facebook is also turning out to be a place to promote brand, services, business, surveys, contest and lot more!

How much do you agree with Jimmy's phenomena of National Unfriend Day?

That's pretty funny. I see his point though (not that I agree or care about that point). I have FB friends that I never talk to in the real world, nor would I want to.

I think it is a good idea for people, not for businesses. I delete people all the time because if I'm not really friends with them in real life, I don't think they need to know my business! Good idea Jimmy!

Many of my FB and RL (real life) friends have a few hundred friends. I noticed the younger they are the more 'friends' they have. Well, I trimmed my friends down to 83 a year ago and if I would to do it again I would come out with about 20 FB friends. In Japan FB is not really popular and most Japanese have less than 15 friends. I can't site reference for that however.
