    Best free website builder?

I have recently begun toying with the idea of designing a website with some pay-per-click advertising to make a little extra cash. Not going to delve into all the details, but my question at this point is what free website builders are best as far as reputation, reliability, what is offered, etc? Also, are there any that in any way make it easier to get yourself accepted by search engines? I just don't want to start building my website with a free builder all to find out in the end that for some reason it's very difficult to get it accepted because of something I have no control over. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,
you can try Wordpress, it is very powerful tool. and very effective SEO. there are lot of free themes are there for wp WEBSITE. To get traffic and PPC revenue isn't that easy. There are many blogs out there with high quality contents, none of them are making any big income.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback, and I know PPC isn't a way to get rich. Just have an idea that shouldn't take me that long to put together and figure so long as I can do it on a free website and it won't cost me any money, once I have it in place and get traffic flowing to it I can make a bit of money off something and move onto other projects. I figure if not anything else it will at least be a learning experience for me and won't cost me any money to learn.

I know this is an old thread I'm dredging up, but I finally finished one project and wanted to move onto this one now.

Anyway, I took a look at wordpress and though I like that it is fairly user-friendly as far as assisting you with templates and all, I find it extremely restricting as far as customization. The only way I see I would be able to fully customize the site the way I'd like to would be to pay an annual fee. I'm really not looking to invest at this time, really just testing the industry out.

So on that note, is there any other sites out there that allow you more customization to your site while at the same time not charging you for a basic setup? I don't mind having a site that would start off with a little extra in the url like "wordpress.com" has on their site for their free setup. However, I don't want a site which puts their own ad banners on your site as if anyone is going to make money off of ads on my site, it's going to be me. Anyway, if anyone can direct me towards a free and more versatile site, I would greatly appreciate it.

Wordpress isn't really a website builder. Most people will agree that wix is the best free website builder. Check out their rating on easywebsitebuilders dot net.

wordpress is the best. Even for a dummy like me it works, and the plugins are plentiful and do lots of great things.

I even set up a membership site using wordpress and s2member and it was a sinche!

Wordpress is a cool site to build your website but it is not entirely free. If you wanted a good site, you must invest into it even for the cheapest price that you can find. This makes your site for trustworthy and professional instead of making it one for free.

Check this site in which you can build a site for only 3 bucks, http://tinyurl.com/buildasitefor3bucks. There are simple easy to follow steps on how to build your website.

    I agree with Alex"
Although our Free option states free, that is in regards to our time.
You still need to sort out webhosting £2-£5 a month and a domain name £10 a yr.

    Very cheap but not free.

Free website builders always come with a catch.

Whether it's their ads placed somewhere on you site, bad ranking or worse.

Here are some examples of structures we would suggest.
A simple one page multi slide site.
    Simple Corporate Style
This one i definitely feel is for you. Clean - Concise
    MU Site
    Temptation
    ShapeShifter
    Coalition
    Slicer

Actually, anyone that agrees with that is so far off it isn't even funny. Wix sucks... you aren't going to be able to benefit from SEO at all using wix.

I also would recommend against this.

Wordpress is okay.. definitely not the best like most internet marketers seem to think. Joomla and Drupal are far better in flexibility and customization, but they aren't as simple to use as wordpress.
