Best E-commerce software - the all-forums poll

Hi, everybody.

We are thinking of making a research – which shopping cart software is the best and why.

This question is one of the most popular all over the net. But there is no answer. More truly, there are too many of them.
Our company decided to launch a poll over the e-commerce and business forums and make an article with reviews from real people, users and developers not manufacturers.
We decided to distinguish different nominations:

Best hosted E-commerce software.
Best not-hosted E-commerce software.
Best licensed (commercial) E-commerce software.
Best open-source (General Public License) E-commerce software.

If you don't know answer to all these questions – please answer one or two of them.
I would like to get short answers to the question “why” do you think this software is the best?

For example,
I think best licensed E-commerce software is _____ because of its ______ system/program/feature/etc.

Also you are welcome to develop your point of view, but we'd like to formulate short and capacious answers.

Why should you take part in this poll:

1. First of all – in order to tell your honest and independent opinion.
2. Second – to help finally get an answer to difficult question about the best E-commerce software. We guess, the answer might be interesting for everybody.

What is different about this poll comparing to comparison's tables and reviews?

It will be an honest opinion from the users.
It may sound like a very crazy idea, but we hope it'll work, because we launch not in one place, but in many different forums.

As soon as some first results will be received, we will process, publish them in our blog and then regularly update.

I've used many Ecommerce software and can say 2 of them take the lead:

Izzonet because it has multi-vendors integration, marketing features and Ebay,Amazon tools and great support, also they are easy to use and affordable

Magento - because they are open source and if you have programming knowledge you can build amazing ecommerce sites using their platform
