Hey there,

If you want to see your links in the webmaster tools, login to the webmaster tools and then click the links button on the left menu. Then, click pages that link to yours.

I do not think this is even accurate. Yahoo has three times as many backlinks as google does in the webmaster tools. Still, the webmaster tools show more backlinks than site:siteName.com shows in google.

I expect google, yahoo, and other major search engines would have different numbers, depending on what their crawlers found. However, I expected the numbers to be very similar, but they are not?

This is a good thread. Just wish I had better reasoning...

When we type "my site" it is showing only 15 to 16 backlinks but if we put "my site" in google search bar then it is showing near about 3000.

While other sites having overall less backlinks but google shows more than us in its record. WHY....?
