Add Face book Social Plugin Box to your Blog and Website. Ask questions regularly using Facebook’s native question app. Include a link to your Face book page in your email signature. These are some techniques by which you can increase Face-book likes.

I haven't tried advertising on Facebook. Only in Google Adwords. For some who have tried both, which one do you think is more effective?

It depends on the product and who is your customer. If you are going to do facebook ads, then you need to do all social media involved. I suggest hiring a company to help. Trial and error costs too much money. I spent $50 on facebook ads because I had a coupon. I got 217 likes, a lot of them weren't even in my target age group which was discouraging. I got one lead that didn't buy. I am no expert in social media marketing. It's not like ad words where you can get leads, you have have to continually post rich article and advertisements. Be as specific as you can with the demographics and keep your bid price very low to start out. Read as much as you can about it. Enjoy.

I think facebook adds are good only if the target of the product/service you want to promote can be caracterized with the methods offered by facebook.

I think a third-party iframe tool is a good solution. I think that now that FB allows iframes in Fan Pages, we are going to see the Wufoo people deal with this directly. I blogged about how to do this with your own FB.

I mentioned in another post that Facebook is the #2 ranking site globally, right behind Google. (Check Alexa dot com to confirm this fact) That means that it has the 2nd highest number of people visiting it. Out of the uncountable billions of websites, Facebook is #2. Wow.. that's incredible~

What that means to you is that Facebook is a GREAT place to post ads! Facebook also "targets" audiences according to their likes dislikes and profile information. So really, by placing an ad on Facebook you are allowing your company or business to be exposed to millions that may have an interest in it. In my opinion that is money well spent!

    Good luck!
