I guess this also depends on the effort you exert. You may find valuable conversion through FB but without doing your own strategy to advertise your own product then it will also greatly affect your high expectations.

We use Facebook ads. How well they convert is still something we are keeping an eye on. The main advantage of FB ads is the cost. For the demographics we target, Facebook costs 1/7th of what it would cost on Google Adwords. So it is defintely cheaper.

What I don't like is how they count clicks. With Adwords, they do not count the same user clicking an ad more than once. However, FB counts each click regardless if it is a new visitor or not.

This is the main gripe about FB ads.
