Help Creating a Terms of Use Page for Blogs

    Hello,

I am working towards launching my blog soon. I am looking for advice and guidance in reference to crafting and forming a Terms of Use page for my blog. Are Terms of Use pages universal, or are they crafted to each websites particular services? If anyone has any input as to how to go about crafting this document it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

You should really have your terms of use personalized for you. But, if you find something that suits your needs go ahead and use it.

I tend to agree with LSnyder. It would be beneficial to take a look around, get a feel for what else is out there. Only then should you decide to shape a terms of use section that best fits.

Ok great. Thank you for the responses. Do you know if it is necessary to make statements about music and photos that we present on the site. I feel like in essence, the terms of use is made so that I do not get sued. In total, the terms of use is used to explain how we want people to use the site. Correct?
