I would avoid paying for things like the site mentioned above, you simply don't need it - there are enough free tips online from experienced business people on blogs and other sites like seochat.com to get you high rankings.

If you want to pay for advertising it will be very expensive compared to other sectors. The nature of your site means you will have to pay quite a bit for any sort of Ads (just trying using Adwords, its very expesive for financial related words!)

Your best bet is to write finance related articles and submit them to the top few article sites, this usually helps a bit.

For more help driving traffic to your site I would ask the members on the DP forum. You will see me over there (my username at DP is chrissatchwell). Many members on their will give you great tips for site promotion.
