eeerr, don't you think that's so general as to almost qualify as trollish?

who is the target market and what problem are they experiencing?

    (and why do you care?)

Let’s see..... Retail, warehouse, inventory management. Mainly passive tags.

ok. your question can be answered on a scale of diminishing uncertainty.

on the one hand - there are little green men from mars who have no idea about rf tags, or inventory management. they can answer in the positive, but by the nature of their guess - there is significant latitude for mistake.

somewhere in the middle, there is me. I have slightly more clue than the little green men, but my answer is the result of seeing successful rf startups, and exposure to analysts reports who forecast continued growth in this market. but still, i can't answer if your particular tags will sell.

and then there is the kind of answer that you should be looking for. your customers will be able to tell you exactly if your particular tags, will sell at particular prices, in particular circumstances. that's the answer which has the least uncertainty.

yo! are you guys doing this stuff for real or just fishing around?

It is reasonably obtainable with questionable reasoning although filled with reasonable uncertainty, given the questionability of an unspecific specified market. I believe that unknowingly the market is high even if the target group is low with pink elephants eating grape jelly with the information you have given me as a highly informative way of exulting misinformation on a more understandable bla~bla~bla.

nice. high tech AND a sense of humor.

exactly man, there's only one way to answer to your question; ask your customers.

what do you think about that?

I think akula made some good points...and you tell him to stop posting.
firstly, his comment about being so broad it is almost trollish is great. Asking if they will see and expecting a yes/no is pathetic.

Also the comment about only your customers can tell you. You need to do some research.

And also "are you guys doing this stuff for real or just fishing around?" is a good question. Your not one of those 14 year olds that start asking about how to invest in commercial real estate type people are you.

(so in conclusion, this post is just sticking up for akula, because I have never done it before he posted some good points, and was funny along the way, and you treated him like shit)

It seems someone has an attitude problem (saying no names "octoma") but akula is one of the most knowledgeable and respected members on this forum. I dont know after reading all your posts what you are after, from what I gather you are just looking your head blown up some with someone saying "good idea, good luck" ??

dood...akula is a very respected member hear...often taken brash at first, but he's one of those " gotta get to know him first" types.

rfid seems to me like the future of inventory and child safety from the little i know about em. Seems like alot of money is needed for start-up though.
