For me , there's a different between promoting and generating traffic. To promote means to look for someone here and there , keep posting messages and ads to certain web site . ....

But , to generate traffic means that you just have to find certain programs and make it working and getting the traffic for you . Search engine , for example , is a powerful tool . if you can rank you site at top ten , the traffic will flow by itself.

C'mon, those traffic exchange programs and 1 million hits programs are nothing but garbage traffic - and most of them are nothing but scams!

Sure, they'll send plenty of traffic to your website - traffic that comes from porn sites and third world countries.

Folks, I hate to burst your bubble, but this kind of traffic doesn't convert.

And even if you received a million hits...which you won't...you won't get one sale.
