    Question Using Google AdWords

I recently started running a google AdWord campaign, but for the life of me I cant achieve a descent click through ratio; and I would like to only pay the minimum bid of .05 cents per click.

I am looking for any info that may help:
    Keyword help
    Ad writing help
anything, what has worked for you?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Adwords

Google Adwords can be tough marketing if you have a ton of competition. I have run campaigns for a client of mine, I think the answer is almost always in the keywords you use.

If you are stuck on paying only the minimum then don't bother bidding on single keywords "money" because they will never get to your position (probably 35-40) before they make a decision.

Try this: Sit down and write out what you are selling, what you have to offer, and what benefits YOUR company has over your competition. This will get your creative juices flowing.

Then: BE creative and write down 100 keywords that would get searchers to your website (pretend you have a guarunteed #1 Position), just write down everything! single keywords, phrases, or whatever you can think of. Be specific about your products.

Then: start searching google. search every keyword on your list, if you see less than 8 ads (from competitors) for that keyword, flag it for inlcusion.

Then: use negative keywords. I almost always use the names of competitors in the negative keywords, why? Because if someone is searching for 'Petco', then you have even a smaller chance of getting their attention, even with a great ad, because the searcher has already made a decision who he/she wants to shop with.

There are a ton of great articles on google adwords,
