Need help intrepreting these stats...

So I'm looking at www.alexa.com stats on my website...and I would like to know, what does a 150,000 traffic rank imply?
Is this ranking a good one?

it means that, based on alexa's sample, you are the 150,000th most visited site on the net

yahoo.com has a rating of 1. they are the most visited site.

the scale is logarithmic

the traffic difference between 1st and 2nd rank is immensely larger than traffic difference between 149k and 150k rank

also, no, it's not a good rank

What would be the cut-off for a fairly good ranking? In the 10,000 and higher range?
And for a site that has been up for roughly 3 months...what would be considered a good ranking?
...Just looking for some good goals to try to reach...

the ranking doesn't matter

you can get any alexa ranking you want for free or for under 50 bucks

in other words, if you're flipping sites, just get fake hits, fake alexa and off you go

the buyer should have the onus to pick these things up on diligence

want goals? get positive cashflow from your site within the 1st 6 months. that's a good goal. ranks and hits don't matter. cash does.
