My first affiliate site

I've recently launched my first affiliate website, to promot a poker product

If you could please please critique it I would be greatful.

But right now Im more focused to the marketing plan. I've done the following
-Submitted articles to ezine websites (though most of them are pending)
-Submitted Press Releases
-Signed up for adwords ($2/day budget)
-I have read 1 or 2 ebooks on making good ads
-Put the link in all of my signatures

I'm a student so I'm on a rather right budget and I was wondering what else I can do, thanks for the help

Are there any other ways I can promote my site and the affiliate link that I haven't tried?

Are there any chnages that I should make to my site to help the conversion rate?

i would advise changing the look away from one of those "earn £1,000,000 a night without doing anything" kind of websites. because i think most people wont bother reading on and it will just waste your advert click cost.

I took a quick look and it looks good overall.
You could tell the visitor a bit more of why they should give you their email id.You haven't told them anything about the email id required and suddenly a form comes up where they should submit their email id and name to get the ebook.
Prepare them for it, so that they dont have to scratch their heads when they reach the submit form.
