My Adsense doesn't work

I made an adsense account a while ago but never used it. I'm trying to make a new one but I'm running into difficulties. Everytime I log into my account it says that I've logged into my Googe account but that the Adsense account is different. I proceeded to apply for a new Adsense Account but it detected a user that has my e-mail exists. I made a new e-mail to apply for the account and Google e-mailed me back and said that there's an activated account with my name in it already - which there is I just can't log into it.

Am I doing something wrong?

Why don't you use your old account? There's no reason to make a new one. It's also against their TOS. I don't get the problem.

Everytime I log into my old account the text appears and says the account is not valid for adsense but it is a valid google account. So basically the adsense account I used two years ago doesn't work anymore but it does work for the other google functions. The only thing I can think is that the account became inactive.

Hey DJ,
That happened to me as well. It was becuase I hadn't logged in for a while. I just contacted them and they reactivated my account.

The same thing happened to my friend, Call up Google and let them know whats up.

ok so you made a new email because it said a user alredy had one the same
(which was you) so you tried to make a new account with the new email, but with the old user name which somone alredy has (you again)
the smarter thing would be make a new email AND a new USER NAME

or contact google and get it sorted out.
