    Making money of blogs.

I have ad sense on my blog what are some of the others that you can use? What is the ad program with links where if you link a product or company and someone clicks on it you get revenue?

    Thanks for your time.

Thanks. Just wondering seeing we have adsense adds here. How many clicks do you need to start making money of them?

A lot, typical payment per click is about 20c. Although depending on your content, which decides what keywords appear in the ads, you can get up to $40 per click.

Still waiting for Google to tell me how much im making from the clicks. Does it usally take a few days to update from adsense? And when someone does click on them does it take a few hours to update the click?

Has anyone actually clicked on your ads? If so, then you should be getting something.

adsense really isnt a great source of income, unless you are getting 1000s of clicks, the majority of clicks dont pay well, and a lot pay nothing (charity adverts etc)

I used AdSense for a little while on my blog and it didn't bring in much revenue for me because I never got too many clicks. It's usually updated everyday, depending on how many clicks you got that day. I usually got like 8 cents per click, which was below average. Anyway, hope this helped.

It depends on your traffic and your content. Don't write off the entire AdSense program because you can't make money. If you have to have a site where people actually want to click ads and advertisers want to spend their money.

Traffic + Correct Placement = Make Cash from programs like adsense.

That is the basic formula. If you get these to correct then you are obviously going to make money out of progrmas like adsense

I was testing it and put up one blog on morgages and ill show you my stats.

The more clicks some guy was telling me on the same add the less you get. For example on one day I was testing it out by going on a freinds computer and just cliking the add over and over and so the revenue went down.

Date Page impressions Clicks Page CTR Page eCPM [?] Earnings
    Monday, March 27, 2006 17 6 35.29% $0.00 $0.00
    Tuesday, March 28, 2006 5 12 240.00% $1,862.54 $9.31
    Wednesday, March 29, 2006 7 14 200.00% $1,137.02 $7.96
    Thursday, March 30, 2006 67 29 43.28% $14.78 $0.99
    Friday, March 31, 2006 2 0 0.00% $0.00 $0.00
    Totals 98 61 62.24% $186.35 $18.26
    Averages 19 12 $3.65

As you can see the more you click on the same add the less revenue you get.

Clicking your own ads isn't a very good idea. You are wasting advertisers' money. Plus don't be surprised if you get banned from AdSense.
