    Is this possible?

My associate and I plan to start an information site which is highly targeted. Its still in the works as we are putting up the content and design, launching early July. There will be bi-monthly newsletters and RSS feeds. Our mode of income is from adsense first and then affiliates and banner ads later once traffic is substantial.

Our target for the year is very simple USD35 daily. So we hope to earn USD 1k per month plus breakeven on our costs for our first year. For those who have done it or surpassed our goals please list your tips and advice. Share with us what works and what does not.

    Thank you. =D

new, i didn't respond to your post the 1st time because it's tiring to be a downer all the time

let me give you some feedback...

you're living in an era of unprecedented information growth. over the next 12 months, the web will generate more new information than the whole of humanity has done over the past 5000 years combined

what excess availability of information creates is a lack in people's attention. the more info is available, the less attention there is to go around. we're in an attention deficit (AD) economy. do you understand this concept?

ok...so to win an AD economy, founders are tasked with creating very high quality information products to be able to compete with all those millions of free blogs, pocasts, TV, radio, IMs, emails, forums etc etc

this costs money, and even expertly managed, extremely well financed new niche info products like http://www.pehub.com/ struggle to get traction

do you have the money and the experience to win in an AD economy?

When using affiliate ads, use links instead of banners, and customize them to your target audience, or include them in the information. This gets better CTR for me.

make sure to do research on monetizing online, and make sure to read about people's experiences when it comes to affiliate and adsense.
