    Hey everybody,

I run a small web development and upgrade company, which is going pritty well, but I would like to start affiliate marketing aswell, as I find the process quite interesting(aswell as the money ofcourse). Where would be the best place to start on this?

If you didn't click on it, how would you know if it was constructive or not??? Notice how nobody else responded? My link was actually a pretty good starting place for you. Oh well, your loss.

From what you say, you seem to possess site building and coding skills. This is actually a great plus and all you need to learn now is the marketing part of affiliate marketing such as content creation, email marketing, search engine optimization and scaling it as a business.

I would recommend any affiliate marketing newbie to read Super Affiliate Handbook by Rosalind Gardner, either the printed or the ebook version (just Google it).

As an additional reading, you can check out my affiliate marketing tips blog. I hope that you will find the content on the blog useful.

I agree with Wayne. Having web development skills is a very large plus in the affiliate industry. What ever affiliate program you decide on, what i've found extremely helpful when using traffic exchanges to increase traffic to my website was the usage of splash pages. it's pretty much a separate web page whose only purpose is to get my domain name's brand out and thus direct people to my affiliate website.

If you're interested, i'm currently involved in a low investment affiliate program under the company Global Domains. my website is listed in my signature if you wanted to see a short video better explaining the mission statement of this affiliate program

If so , then you need to find what your really interested in.

Body building, weight loss, personal development etc.

But the key is to get specific so you can create a niche, that is hungry
    for you to serve them......

Try cpa programs it's much easier getting people to signup for
free trials than to buy something.
