How much do you earn?

Hi i am after the amount that people earn through advertising on there webpage. How much do you earn for placing a banner on your site, do you get payed per impression and click. How much are people earning per clikc with adsense and adbrite. I no your not ment to comment but lets talk hyperthertically lol. Does anyone have a search engine on there site how much are you earning from that. I have searched the net high a low but no one gives away prices. Its more for research and knowledge reasons any help would be great thanks.

My UploadFX.com site is fairly new (I've owned it a month, and I bought it when it was two months old). I've got AdBrite ads running on it, and I'm now making about $1 a day from them. I'm sure it will increase with time (just a few weeks ago it was a couple of pennis a day) and visitors.

You may want to research two sites: Fark.com and Plenty of Fish.com. I did a case study on both of them for a college class. Fascinating stuff. Specifically, pay attention to how much they make from AdSense. It will drive you crazy.

I don't see why you people focus on Adsense and advertising revenue... The Stealthy One, you're making about $30 a month from that site. Woo Hoo...

Sorry if I seem harsh, but it just seems like too much effort and not enough return for my taste. Sure, if you built 30 sites like that one that could make $1 a day you'd be doing alright. But why not spend your time building sites that make $30 a day? Build 30 sites that can bring in $30 a day and you'll be doing BETTER than alright.

P.S. 5 minutes ago I received an email that said "Notification Of Payment Received" from Paypal. I made $47. That makes $94 for the day from ONE site.

You obviously did not read my full post. It is a new site (not my main venture, either), and I've only managed it for about a month.

I know it's not your only site, Stealth. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to diss you personally or anything. Just trying to understand why so many people mess around with Adsense when they could be spending their time on more productive things. No harm intended. : )

It's just a project - seriously, research Plentyoffish.com and Fark.com - and the way they make their money. I think you'll understand why text ads garner so much attention.

advertising revenue starts of small, everything starts off small, so $1 a day is a start, if you play your cards right, and if your website grows you'd be earn hundreds a day.

Google adsense works if you do it properly, I personally can't get google adsense to work but I know many websites that can get it to work.

What sort of numbers are u getting on your site to get that $1 a day.

What i really need to no is how much the advertiser pays and how much you get from it. Does anyone have any ideas on how much its cost to place an ad.

depends on the website, how much traffic they get and what type of traffic they are getting

Yes, AdBrite takes care of even setting the rate at market prices, so I don't even have to worry about that. Right now, with $1 a day income, I'm getting about 30 to 40 unique visitors, each day.
