How can I do this?

I am currently working on a site to promote some of my affliates. How can I make this site more profitable? Should I use Adsense? Would that make me some extra revenue? How could I get some extra traffic? Adwords?

I just need some ideas how to advertise the site and how, if I can, to effictively use Adsense. All the input you can give me would be great.

first off, with affiliates how are you goin to be promoting it on your ste? just banners? reviews? how it benefits? etc adsense can work but you will need good content and most if not all adsense are mostly affiliates anyways so you might want to lean towards and concentrate on your affiliates

also what type of affiliates are you using CJ clickbank? if click bank you can use adsense look a like tools so if a user clicks on your adsense look a like and buy you will gte commision via clickbank

You can use free ads too, just put in a search for sites that let you place free ads or you can pay yahoo,msn,google a little cash if you want some real traffic to earn money or even try posting a blog on blogger.com to promote your site. or you can try Linkshare.

Why not try doing some article and directory submissions?...

It's not only free but it's also an easy and fast way to promote and improve your sites page rank.

Although there are some directories that offer submission with a fee it's still worth it because the payment is usualle below $10 per link submission.

Thanks guys I guess Adsense would not be too good. That would defy the purpose of selling affliate products. I'll do some advertising. Anyone have any good ways to advertise or something that has worked for you?

And about SEO I guess I should read up on it right, since I am a newb to building web sites and such.
