Hi,
I am new on this forum, infact new into this entrepreneur thing. I was working and recently laid off / right sized. Since the economy is in bad shape therefore its useless to hope for getting any new job. So I started my home business and launched a site (you can find it in my signature). Now I have few questions:

1. How to promote the site, I heard that writing blogs, joining forums etc can be helpful but upto what degree?.
2. What impact does content of site made on the search engine ranking.
3 The most important question, how to increase the ranking of site with spending any money on google's adwords.
4. What are the methods to earn money other than google's adsense or similar programs?.

Probably the most important thing to do with your business is tell anyone and everyone about it. Putting the link in your signature is a great start, do that on every forum you're on.

Join something like Twitter to further promote your site. Just be creative, and have fun. I hope this helps!
