Does anyone make real money off of this?

I see so many pop-ups and things saying how they have made millions and billions of dollars. Obviously not true but are any REAL profits possible if you have a good website with a large amount of traffic?

I have never made any real money off Adwords or Adsense. I think that people with a large advertising budget can afford to test market, etc.

I made about £50 in two years from Adsense and £30 in two years from Clixgalore. But this was just from putting the banners on my site and that was it so if you put effort into it you can do better than me.

adsense will only work as a portion of your traffic will ever want to click on them anyway. You need serious traffic and an understanding of SEO in order to base your income around ad sense

Adsense pays the webmaster per click.


A website like YouTube.com would have very little problem making millions with adsense.


It's all about traffic.


I'm not a big fan of Adsense.

It seems like succeeding with Adsense is equal to settling for second best.

If you talk about Adwords i asumme you talk about arbitrage using Adwords to drive traffic to affiliate/adsense site ... my sincer opinion such plans are risky ...


Ifd you talk about Adsense traffic = $$$ you need k's of vizitators / day targeted

For adsense to work you need massive daily traffic to your website/blog/forum. For adwords to work, you need careful planning: a well optimized website, relevant content, backlinks, the right domain name and choosing the right keywords.

Even if you have massive taffic, it will take time for you to accrue any meaningful income from adsense. Thinking of millions/billions isn't practical/realistic.
