    eBay affiliate program

    Hey all,

I first tried to search any past posts about this and couldnt really find much!

So! I just signed up to advertise stuff on one of my sites, I still have to create the ads. Im waiting till I get some hosting and a .com address.

Is the eBay affiliate program any good? any words of advice from experience?

    thanks in advance

I've made over $300 this month with the eBay affiliate program already. I won't tell you how I did it, but let's just say, selling on eBay helps!

    Wow....
I NEVER knew you were able to do this!

    I know somewhere on my sign up it had info on all this but just while i'm here;

are all item listed on eBay available for the affiliate program?

for general affiliate ads, will products from other countries be displayed depending on the viewers location?

thanks for the info, im amazed! i might consider that site builder option (although I should be able to develop this myself)

I'm not putting them on eBay or in my auction descriptions. I sell downloadable products and I send people download links when they purchase. The affiliate links are all on the download pages. Total this month was $324.32, all from the eBay affiliate.

    Ebay affiliate php script?

I came across this site today. Looks like a PHP script that scrapes the affiliate links off ebay.

    http://www.globalmusiczone.com/ebay_money/

Pretty cool. Does anyone know the code to generate this page?

    Thanks

i know you get $25 for new user to sign up through your link.

i dont get their commission based on sale part. supposedly if someone clicks on your link, and then they buy something on ebay within 7 days you get 50% of ebay's commission fee from the sale.
i tried clicking on my own link and purchasing something from ebay but they didnt give me any commission for my purchase.

^for the script, I use something called "Build a Niche Store" ...however, I like BuyNick's idea better...

I have a few sites like the ones that you guys linked, but I don't make that much from them...around $100/mo per ...it's not bad, but it's not as good as I expected either. It's hard to get return visitors on the site...that's why I'm trying some new idea with it

old post but i gotta say that php script in post # 7 is actually javascript. and the way to integrate it into your site is with ebay's editor kit. which can be found here: http://affiliates.ebay.com/ns/EditorKit.htm

Now i always wondered if you had a automotive niche site and used this tool to list cars on there you would see some pretty nice profits. only problem is the person has to win the auction but you do get the profits of whatever auction that person wins for the next 7 days

eBay auctions fit in well with Adsense type sites. You post some articles, adsense codes, Amazon affiliate links, then eBay. This way you get multiple streams of income on the site. I'm sure there are codes out there that includes all of these features, and all you have to do is change the links with your affiliate links and the products you want to promote. I see many types of these sites for sale on eBay and they're basically the same layout, so they're from some sort of template. You just have to find it.

On the other hand it's weird that you guys still receive commission for new eBay members. Can you imagine someone still not registered for eBay?
