Eric is right, I have the program and run it every week. make sure you delete your cookies & temp internet files first!

I've always been one that never has used any virus software because ive been lucky enough to keep myself away from them. Every once in awhile ill scan my system to make sure but it always comes out clean. The other night i opened a email that was "supposably" from a postmaster saying a got a email back, and then about 50 IE opened up. So i scanned it and it was a worm, killed the worm and am good to go now. But anyways back to what i was saying.....
I was watching a section on CNBC the other day on how spyware was becoming very big, and i had in my day planner to download a spyware detector today. So im glad you posted this. I started to think about what i actually do on my machine that i would want people possibly seeing. 1) I do all my banking online thru Bank Of America. Everyday at least once im typing my user and pass in. Not somehting that i want people seeing. 2) i would say that i login to my paypal acct once a day on average also. Obvioulsy both of them are FDIC insured if soemone was to break into them, and im sure that they are very very secure, but it got me thinking. Also my trading platform i login to daily. Iwouldnt want someone with that user and pass. That could do some damage.

But anyways, i had 18 spywares detected. More then i figured it would.... is that high or low??

When I ran it for the first time I had about 20.

I consider 1 to be high.

They shouldn't be on my computer!!!!

If you haven't run it in the past, there is a good chance you could have over 200 instances. 18 isn't very much, especially if many of them are tracking cookies.
