alternatives to adbrite and adsense for publishing

i like adbrites setup but they take a big cut, if im not mistaken like 50%. any alternatives to adsense and adbrite?

maybe ishould stick with adsense? maybe i should go with adbrite and eat the losses? maybe ishould just control it myself and use one of th other twofor the slots that dont sell?

AuctionAds, Chikita, PeakClick, KlikVIP, Miva, 7search, YPN.

The best bet however is if it's a BIG site then you should sell advertising directly on it. Otherwise adsense or YPN or AuctionAds is best (depending on niche)

the site is an adult content site which is free and the advertising would be by pay adult sites.

I agree with cswolf. Do some leg work and find some sites you would like to advertise directly on.

Ummm,

Alot of people seem to get a higher CTR from CPA affiliate networks. There are over 100 listed at http://www.affiliateseeking.com/netwo/23000002/1.html

If you are not interested in affiliate networks, then I would say that TLA's, Chitika, Adengage, YPN, are also good.
