Advertising services - anyone with some experience

Does anyone have any experience with services like commission junction? My 1st impression of them is that they are too expensive and probably focused on quantity, not quality traffic. Thanks for your help!

I take it by you saying it is expensive that you are wanting to use them to sell your product.

Have you tried Google AdSense, that may work for your product, and it is a lot cheaper to set up.

I actually had a post a while back about this. I have yet to find a service where spending less than $500-$1000 is going to get you anything. Google is great for certain markets but ridiculous for others.

There was a site called ShareASale.com. I heard about them a while back -- I don't know if they're good or not though.

I definately recommend giving Overture a shot as well - I've always had better luck with them vs. Google AdWords.

I sent you an email to your website earlier today, I could work with you on advertising being my website is based on fashion and already has 1000+ members in my first 2 months, I should be able to give really good quality leads to your site. You can PM, or email me at mblocker@gmail.com . Aslo sharealsale I heard is pretty good as well, I work with someone who uses them.

I used ShareASale a year ago, which I had pretty high hopes for it. Too bad it didn't pan out. Yes it's one of the cheapest affiliate programs out there. But of course, like everything, you pay what you get. I had about 50 affiliates signing up the first week, but of those 50 affiliates, no one brought me any business. Right now I'm trying to adwords and seeing how that works out for my own web site. My mentors have been saying that it's the best program for new businesses just starting out. We'll see how it goes. Good luck to you.
