Young Affiliates, how much are you making a month?
So how much are you guys making a month in profits? I just recently touched my first $400 day. On average I am making about $100/day. This is on the azoogle network. I have been doing this for 8 months now. I had started off by putting dating ads on facebook, mostly promoting SinglesNET.com, although on average I was spending $5k a month on Facebook ads and making about $6-7k revenue. Its relatively a very low return for me on the amount of investment I made every month.
Recently I found a few offers that are doing really well for me. No they are not dating related. I just made a few websites promoting the offers and did some SEO, now I am making $100+ day doing nothing, just from SEO traffic and minimum advertising. I will try to replicate my methods and hopefully by the end of the yr have my first $1k day.
Guys if you have some tips and advice please share here. Would love to hear what the other guys our doing.
Anyone going to the ad tech event in april? Would love to meet up with some affiliate marketers and bounce some ideas. I just got 2 free passes from Azoogle to attend it.

Ok. So I just wikied the affiliate programs. Now I have two questions.
1) How many affiliate merchants did you have to sign up with make that 100 $ a day?
2) How can know who refered potential customers? Is it done through telling them which sites or avenues you are advertising from, before hand, and this way if it comes from that venue they know its your work?

Sorry for getting back a bit late.
I have been experimenting for a while with different offers. Just had my first $500 day last week.
Anyways, there are few types of affiliate marketing techniques. I usually concentrate on CPA offers - Cost per action. Sometimes referred to as PPA - pay per action. Basically u get paid when someone does a required task with the offer you are promoting. For example, registering to a website. CPA offers, don't require the customer to buy anything from their site, you usually get paid when a person fills out their contact info or registers to a site or completes a survey, etc.
A good way to start is registering to neverblueads (if new to neverblueads, please join with my affiliate link) and azoogle. I prefer neverblueads because they have way better support and I actually get calls from my affiliate manager at least once a week, asking me how things were going. They have pretty good payouts too. Ofcourse once you are pushing over $10,000/month you could apply for Hydra and copeac networks. You wont get approved if you are pushing anything less than that.
The easiest way start is by promoting dating offers on facebook. You will make at least 30-50% profit on investment if done right.
Too sleepy to type more, feel free to PM me with Q's.

I routinely do between $35-$100 plus per day. Although there are some days where its not so good.
I work primarily with 2 different lead generation companies. Partner Weekly and LeadPile. I promote any number of sub-prime financial offers...A couple of my network sites include LoanUntilFriday.com and YourEmergencyCash.com. Basically I have been buying domain names, developing and monetizing the site and doing alot of social media marketing (Myspace, Facebook, Blackplanet etc). The key is reaching your target market successfully.
If anyone is interested I'd be happy to share what I know or even work together...only so much 1 man can do right? Anyway, glad I found the forum Ill def be posting more.

Hi Alex,
Yes a website with PPC or SEO (preffered) traffic is preferred. To get started in affiliate marketing and to learn more. Sign up as an affiliate through the link in my sig.

CPA = Cost Per Acquisition, in Affiliate Marketing terms. CPA offers require someone to acquire something.
The reason why CPA doesn't stand for Cost Per Action in affiliate marketing terms is because there are several different types of affiliate offers. Some only require an email or zip submit, which would be an action. Other offers require a purchase or credit card information for a, Free Trial, which would be an acquisition.
If you go to a network you are typically dealing with offers that require someone to enter credit card information. They need to usually pay for something, whether it's a free trial that requires them to pay $2.95 for shipping and handling or signing up for a dating website that has a monthly memebership. Diet offers, ringtones, credit reports, etc...
Why don't you guys who are interested in learning about something, take the time it takes you to ask a question on here, and google it? Opportunity doesn't come knocking, you need to find it.
I used to think this forum was great, but it's gone down the shitter. Trying to jump into affiliate marketing without any initiative, will make you end up just like every other idiot who tries affiliate marketing.
I'm an affiliate marketer myself, but it's by no means easy. You'll end up somewhere like digital point, buying ebook after ebook, and spending every dime you have. Thinking that it's going to be easy will set you up to get scammed.
Do your research, don't be lazy.

Hi everyone,
I run a web design company and I am also starting out in affiliate marketing (although I have been studying it for over a year). I am very interested in working with people like diknox and manitkat.
I could learn a lot from you about the finer aspects of CPA and facebook advertising & in turn I can help out a lot with web / graphic design and SEO.
As an example, one of my websites that advertises Cheap Clubbing Holidays that only went live 2 days ago, is already ranked no. 5 on MSN search for the term 'Cheap Clubbing Holidays' and no. 6 for Google out of 265,000 websites.
Feel free to get in touch if you are interested in collaborating on any projects.
