Question About Advertising
I recently read on Forbes.com that you need to recieve at least 500,000 daily hits to your site in order to get advertisers to take notice and contact you about adevertising on your site.
For those who have advertisers on their sites now. Did you have 500,000 daily hits to your site before the advertisers took notice?
Let me know your thoughts on this and tell me what you have heard.
Looking forward to the responses.

Your right Sporkman, it does say per month. Sorry everyone, I apologize.
Since that has been cleared up. What does everyone think about that?
I think that this is something that can easily be accomplished, but only if your site stands out and you are offering a product or service that is different.
Again, sorry for the confusion.
Let me know what you think.

Well alot of sites will contact big corporations and offer the advertising to try and get deals.... Its believeable that advertisers will contact a site that has 500,000 hits per month because that a pretty significant #... But alot of times site owners will do the soliciting themselves

per month... still!
About 40000 per day!
Who makes that kind of traffic?!
I have non-commercial blog and the maximum it reached was 200 per day, I can't imagine a commercial site having 40000?!
Tell me the formula! ;o)
Cheers!
