It is weird. You actively promote a product and you don't get any sales, and when you don't you get sales!

I had my best day as an affiliate today. $88 from two sales the Build a Niche Store script. The thing is that the only linking I have done to it is from my blog and I gave my readers the opportunity to use my affiliate link or a clean link.

And this morning I woke up and two people had used my affiliate link

So now my goal is my first $100 day...

I just want to know how long one affiliate program will run or how can we find out what is the life of that affiliate program ??

I had a very similiar experience with my web design company. I was actively pursuing sales, and participating in contests when I first started just begging people for sales, now I do very little and it seems that people are more attracted to my site that way. I have had more luck just helping people out on these boards making sales that actually trying to sell my services.

yea I think people can see desperation - and they dont like it. They think if this guy were any good he wouldnt have to be begging for the job.

Yet if you are providing quality information, people can see your expertise and will come to you.
