Incentive Based Affiliate Marketing
I'm a newbie 'round 'ere but, I've been researching affiliating marketing for the past month or so. I was wondering what you guys thought about starting a website where I can offer consumers prizes for completing offers from my affiliates. Kind of like the websites freeipods.com, I have been actively involved in these kind of websites and I have made some good money but, I have realized that there is some better money being made from those sites. I have looked into this and I'll need money for a script that can handle referrals, creditting, ect..
I was thinking, maybe I can start out by offering a list of websites people can shop at and I will offer them a certain percentage back on their return. For example, let's say one of my affiliates gives me 12% for each purchase someone whom I refer spend, I can offer them 5% or so. Does anyone know of a script I can use for this? or what else do you recommend?

After all that time I've finally launched my site! It's only a week old but, it's doing okay so far. I've already gotten around 150 uniques. Everything is done manually so far because I haven't got a script yet for automation but I am working on writing one. If any of you have any suggestions..do tell!
Oh, by the way, my site is in my sig.

I am using an old HYIP script I found layin' around and I modded it to fit my needs. That's why nothing is automated yet.

ha! I knew that graphic looked familar, you're using that free one, right? I remember finding a free HYIP script at this site How is it working? I may want to start an incentive site up [again] would you be interested? I have tons of affiliate stuff I promote, I think I would do so much better creating an incentive site. The legal dispute I had with myeasyscripts last year, sort of deterred me away for awile, but I know there's good residual money in this.

I was going to start a site exacly on the same lines because of the Return On Investment (I mean, think about it... your offering something like maybe an iPod which costs about $250 --- they complete 1 offer and refer let's say 8 friends to do the same, each time an offer is completed you get paid maybe $45-$50 --- you do the math... if $45 per each one, your making a $155 profit.) EASY MONEY
Anyway, I am taking a differenter business route now... but here are some sites to help you get on your incentive business.
www.projectrafs.com ($200... $175 for the script, $25 for copyright removal) --- many of the free iPod sites use this now-a-days anyway. At the same time, the ProjectRAFS system combined with the MetaReward affiliate publisher network... you can INSTANTLY credit the accounts
I'll give you some more resourceful sites later... like different affiliate sites and such.

Thanks for your input guys. My site has only been open a week and I've received almost 400 unique visitors already! My pending payout is already over $1,600! it's because I'm offering such high payouts per offer, I'm hoping that'll attract more active members.
Yeah. I'm considering opening up a referral site too, get a network goin'. The return on investment is good with referrals but, I thought i'd start off with a GPT to site first. I didn't have any startup money so that's why I'm currently paying on a monthly basis but I've spoken to my affiliates and I've done all the necessary requirements to be paid on time. and they told me they pay very promptly and I'll be paying my members as soon as I receive the payment.
I have heard of or projectrafs, I have it bookmarked actually. That's the script I may purchase if I decide to go with a purchased one. I just don't know if I'd be able to customize it to work with points and referrals at the same time. I'm working on writing my own instant creditting script right now actually.
And if you guys haven't done so, if you want, register at my site and make some money! I've been adding offers daily so there's a ton there. Perhaps you'll be interested in one or two.

I saw your email:
Quote:
Dear members,
I unfortunately have to bring you all terrible news. My main affiliate
that most the offers on Money4Shop are posted under, has placed my
account on hold and says it is terminated. We were doing great this past
week and I want to thank all the members who've been active. We've
reached over $1,600 in pending payouts in less than a week, I'd say that's
pretty impressive. But this current situation puts us in a tough spot.
Since my account isn't there, I wouldn't be receiving the funds to pay
all you members next month. I am doing everything in my power to try
to fix this.
Here is the status of the current situation. Many of you may know that
Revenue Universe is owned by Peter Kasmin who is also owns the whole
Free4Me network. A lot of you might be familiar with that network and/or
has had experience with it. They do love to place users on hold and
that is why if you search the internet, you'll receive many results of
Free4Me being a scam. So you may ask why I trusted them to be my main
affiliate? Well, you'd think that being a publisher for an affiliate
company is completely different than completing a freebie site and holds
aren't placed as easily. I guess I thought wrong.
I was accused of completing an offer more than once on other freebie
sites that use their network, so because of that, they placed my
affiliate account on hold. Now, why did they wait till the members had earned
$1,600? That's what I asked. I was also accused of maybe being the
one who completed all those offers myself, which you members know isn't
true because you were the one whom completed those offers.
Again, like I said. I am trying to do everything in my power to
receive these funds so I can payout you members who have worked hard and have
earned. I will keep you updated on the current situation. If you'd
like to further discuss this, please visit the forum on the home page and
under 'General', I'll post up a topic labeled 'Current Situation'. I
have currently taken down both the offer links. If the funds do get
released, don't worry, I will not be running my offers through this
affiliate company anymore. If the funds don't get release, I am going to
need your opinion on whether I should continue running this website and
post up offers from my other affiliates. I know if that were to happen,
all sense of trust will be completely lost and I'd lose a lot of member
participation.
Thanks again for you time. I'll keep you updated.

I had signed up to see your backend, and you're trying to deceive people on this site? that's lame. That doesn't make any sense, affiliates don't care how many people signup, and what does it have to do with that guys network? You're ripping off members? Just so you know, that 'free' HYIP script you're using is vulnerable, the creator distributed it for free so that he could later login, and then rob sites utilizing his script. I know this, because I'm a TG member, and it has been discussed. I remember that exact template that came with the script.

So far, we haven't had any hacker problems and I've only been open for 5 days and I've been looking for security options. Also, if hackers did get in, they wouldn't get very much. As you can see, I don't ask for very much information and everything is stored offline on the computer.
No, how am I trying to deceive people on my site? If you didn't know, the owner of Revenue Universe is Peter Kasmin. He also owns the Free4Me network. I know they don't care how many people signup at my site, and that is the problem. He doesn't care that I owe my member's $1,600. All he wanted was to wait for me to earn all that in the account and then terminate it.

But you didn't tell the members of this forum, you invited them to signup! wtf. What exactly does your site have to do with his? Affiliate offers come from companies like hostgator, online stores, etc not from that guy. How could he cost you money? And why would he owe you? I hate those guys that rip off their members ... ugh.

This all just happened yesterday evening, after I've invited everyone. If you haven't looked at Revenue Universe's website yet, they have many advertisers that go through them. And what they do is have publisher's (such as myself) advertise. So. Revenue Universe gets paid from merchants and then they payout their members (which are mostly freebie sites) and then the sites payout their members. and tha'ts why he owes me because my members earned over $1,600 and now Revenue Universe isn't going to pay and terminated my account. So stop trying to blame me for ripping off members if you don't even know how this all works in the first place.
