I noticed some of these people right now are running affiliate marketing on YOU right now. They are posting links to their crappy little websites that they spent hours working on just to try to get conversions on and make money but I am sure most of them suck at this anyways.
My advice to you is join copeac.com I have made $850 in the past 5 days inserting ads into already saturated websites. Be aware of the "Get rich quick" websites. I do not need to list any because there are already plenty posted on this page!
Now this guy wes mahler looks pretty legit I read his website. Also look at his website, he his not flooding you with nonsense get rich quick schemes. Follow people like him and listen to good advice and then you can play pool or sit at the beach while you continuously made money. O PS in the time that it took me to write this I made $13.75

You can also try the ClickBank.com marketplace. There are thousands of affiliates to promote there. Ianternet mentioned Build A Niche Store earlier in this post, which I use as a product, but also am an affiliate. They payout almost $45 per sale. They are a CB affiliate, but some affiliates pay out even more.
Just be careful of PPC. It can clean out a wallet very quickly if you don't know what you're doing. Start small and DON'T use the content network in your campaigns. It is not 100% targeted and you'll find far less conversions.
If you want to learn how to become a successful affiliate marketer, check out the Wealthy Affiliates Club link in my sig. That will give you a great start.

Pay Per Click is a terrible way of making money unless you've got thousands of parked domains for it...
I've dabbled a bit with the PPC and PPV and wasn't happy with them in the end, as they ended up being really low on the income stream.
Even when I'd get 500-600 clicks a week, I was still lucky to see $40-$50.
Personally, I think affiliate-conversions (cpa) based marketing is the way to go on this sort of thing, especially if you're just sitting on a domain without any actual site or content.
O'course, I'm a little biased in that I work in it as well as use it.
If you've got a good domain, like really common typo for a particular site, you'll get a lot of people coming through. When they see ads, they'll realize it's the wrong place and try again. But if you offer an actual product or service, then hey, they'll buy in.
Thinkaholic: Clickbank's ok... I guess... the way you end up going offsite with a lot of their things would get me kinda suss on it, but I guess most users aren't that savvy.
I'm with AffiliationCash. Better looking sites, and you can iframe the join page so the user doesn't leave your own site.

I love PPC. However, many newbies go broke with the wrong key words. The formula for success in PPC is long tail phrases. If you use a popular key work phrase like Make Money Online, due to competition, click fraud and lack of a focused target, you WILL go broke and fast.
If you need some encouragement or advice, I can give you some suggestions to drive traffic to your website.
Kind Regards,
Jeff

I am in the process of attempting to affiliate market pokerrooms. Have not had much success as we struggle with adveritising due to low budgets. We are trying to create friendships and partnerships with other larger websites to help get our name out there.

I am an Affiliate Marketer
I am also in affiliate Marketing. Actually, I am in just about anything on online marketing to tell you the truth. Affiliate marketing was really my online business roots. Back in like '97 I used to make couple hundred a week for 5 mins of work a day. No bad for someone who was only 17 at the time… Those same techniques don't work anymore but there is still a lot of money to be made online in affiliate marketing. I trailed off doing it for years and recently started to do it again. Contact me if you want to share strategies and info.
Regards,

A little late of a reply but I seriously think you did something wrong if you honestly think you need thousands of parked domains for it to work. Sounds more like you were trying to profit from a form of arbitrage rather than focus on affiliate offers. PPC is an awesome way to profit if you know how to utilize it well.
