Anyone here had any success with Affiliate Marketing?
I was just chatting with a guy from another forum who claims he makes thousands of dollars a day with Affiliate Marketing. The program he's promoting is a ringtones program on Azoogle Ads. Has anyone here had that kind of success?

I have heard of others making good money with ringtones, but I am not one of them. I tend to pursue affiliate programs with products that I have a passion for. And yes, I have had some success with affiliate marketing. I still have my day job, but I am making enough money online to pay my mortgage with some leftover spare change.

The great thing about ringtones though is that you don't need a credit card to signup. All you really need is your cell phone. Your best audience would be teenagers and I'm sure there's no shortage of teenagers on the internet.

Over saturated with limited conversions and profit potential.
Way way better niches to focus on that are less competitive and more profitable, you just have to develop the nose for them.

I'd say targeting mobiles is a great idea, but the ring tone market is pretty saturated.
To do well out of it, you'd have to pay a lot for advertising.
See if you can find some sort of 3rd Gen content, like radio plays or flick shows (little 5 minute programs) that you can sell.
You'd get repeat customers as they'd want to continue the sequential nature of the content.

Yes. I only started a couple of weeks back but made my first commissions already, I'm not doing ringtones though.

Stay away from ringtones...
There are much better products and services out there...
Especially with the way phones and pdas are developed today, any user can create their own ringtones in a matter of a minute by transferring their mp3 file to their phone and using a free program.
best of luck,

Sawya: If you don't mind me asking, if you're not doing ringtones, what are you doing?
I'm wanting to find some decent affiliates for 3G content.
