Spanish entrepreneur in London seeking an advisor or partner for a new idea.

    Hi,

my name is Nacho, and I am spanish. I've recently moved to London in order to develop a new business idea I had some time ago. I am now looking for anyone brave enough to join me as a partner or just to give some advice about entrepreneurship in this country.

Hope I hear from you soon!

Hi Mariusz, thank you for answering.

My idea is about learning foreign languages in a special way. The business case is done, and now I'm developing my website. However, as a new in this world, I have plenty of questions to be asked. For example, I don't know about launching new businesses, registration, promotion in the first stages, estimation of sales...and so on.

Maybe you could say me something about that

    mmm I see...

I'm not a teacher, but this is not the issue...It's about creating a kind of web community. Can you tell me about promotion in the first stages?? what kind of promotion is possible to do in the internet at low cost, how many people can be expected as clients...

    thanks!

well...lets say that it is a mix between learning languages and creating a community. If the service is good enough for people, you still think that 5,000 or 10,000 pounds will be needed just to start?? Is there any other alternative?? How can I show my idea to the most people without paying for the advertising??

    thanks!

hmmm lerning languages and creating community its gona be hard to win with facebook or other big social sites because u can doi it with them.
i finish 2 years business school and the first thing i learn is there is no cheap way of advertising a specialy in internet, u will spend lots of money on google adds. and next thing to build such a website u will need big website with pricy features.

btw how u want make money ? is that free website and u want have adds or ppl need to pay for membership ?

Ok, I see...the website is not a problem, as I have someone working on it for free.

As far as I know, I would need around 50.000 visits a month to win money with the ads, so obviously it can't work like that; at least in the beginning.

Do you know any way of estimating the advertisement impact? I mean, how many people is going to see my business if I put an ad in google, for example?...that would tell me if it is worth it or not.

    Hi Nacho

My name is Daniel and I think I understand what you are attempting.

I can see that there are several ways where you do not need to spend lots of money. You just need a bit of creativity. For example, I am thinking how your idea could integrate with Couch-surfing. If you see where I am going with that, you will see how you can get over 50,000 visitors to your soon-to-be created website.

If you want to talk more on ideas, and possibilities then I am in the UK for several meetings from Friday. Our office is in Central London, so a coffee or something could be good.

Drop me a line and good luck.

    Hi Daniel, thanks for answering.

I see what you say and it sounds good to me. Maybe we can have a coffee one day and I'll be pleased to talk with you about this (if it is not inconvenient for you). Just tell me when are you available.
