My name is Chris P Meridian, I am a music producer/songwriter from London. I started out creating music at a very young age (11 to be precise), I began dj'ing, I then moved on to music production for r&b/hip-hop/dance artists and began selling my beats. I have been offered 2 major recording deals which each got declined due to contractual disagreements, both major labels wanted to own my record rights and percentage of my writing rights, which I felt was out of the question, one deal was just a production deal and the other was an Artist deal (because I rap also).

During this time I was studying Music Technology & Business in Cambridge Regional College, After leaving college with a distinction and many offers from various universities around the country, I decided to decline each one and not go to Uni, since they all seemed to offer education for contemporary based musicians, which is not me at all. I then unofficially set up my own beat selling company in which I have been living off for the last 2 years, various independent Artists will come to me for either a 1 off production or I also offer album/mix tape production packages.

I have spent most of my musical life acquiring new industry contacts, and I have built myself a fairly renowned name in the industry I am in, for the last 4 months I have been undertaking thorough research into starting my own record label, I believe that since I can produce and write my own songs I don't need anyone else and I can reap the benefits, I am looking for a serious investor to help get my Record Label off the ground, I have various solo projects that I am working on for release on the label straight away, and I have already made my business plan, so if your a serous investor and want to hear more (and hear my music, so you know what you are working with), PM me or reply.
