When organizing...

When creating my in house web development team for my site, what positions do I need to fill. It is a community site for people in the race world so...in your opinion...what positions are needed and how many in each positions?

Hmmmmm...

Well, you first need a project manager, I suggest 1 or 2 for that field. Then you need maybe a web designer, I suggest 2-4 for that (or less, depending how fast you needed it done) and you'd need a web programmer, I suggest 2-3 for that (and depending that they all work together.)

You may want to get a project management software for your website... get one that is hosted on a web host so they can all share ideas and everything. The suggestions are based on the fact (and assuming) its a small biz right now.

If you are starting off really small at least get 1 of each. 1 Project Manager, 1 Web Designer and 1 Web Developer. I have done projects like that in the past and it worked fine depending on what we were trying to get done. If its a big project, you would probably need more and depending on the job (like a community site), you would probably focus on web developers. Sites that have a lot of functionality would focus on developers (programmers) and probably not need multiple designers.

Good luck!
