Depends on so many different factors. Depends on what items you are selling, how many you are selling, how many customers do you have, if they are repeat customers or if you are having to drive new customers to the site etc. Is there something more specifically that you are trying to find out?

Generally it's not so bad. If you organize well before you start the business, things work out well. If not, it's chaotic and cluttered. When you start out, prepare for growth... that way, when your business actually DOES grow, you're business won't be overwhelmed. Think long-term instead of day-to-day. Imagine how you'd handle 100 orders a day... right from the get-go.

As far as the daily specifics... I own quite a few e-commerce businesses, and I hardly even deal with any of them. Most of it is automated, and what isn't automated, I have staff to take care of questions and inquiries.

For the most part, it's easy! Hope this helps and good luck! *=)
