What should I do about shipping from different suppliers?

I have several different suppliers that I buy from and all have different shipping terms, including how long they will take to process the order, their return policies, etc so how would I charge my customers? Some charge by weight and some have flat shipping fees, so which should I consider, a flat fee or some type of calculation per every order or go by the weight of the product.

Thank you

This is a tough situation. Everything I've read about chosing a supplier states that you should chose a supplier. The more you work with the more complex your site has to be. You are running into issues that you could avoid if you chose a single supplier rather than working with two. Shipping will be much higher than necessary if customers order one product from each supplier. Either you or they will have to bite the bullet on this, and I don't think the customer will want to do that.

My only suggestion would be to make your shopping cart dynamic enough to tell the difference, add up the flat and weight based fees and show them to the customer.

i think maybe you can charge according to weight of the item..however, you maybe can considering to give free delivery according to amount of orders.
