If I was being extremely picky, I would say you need to limit your product listing, to say 10 items, to maintain the length of the page.

Best of luck!
Thank you.

As for the product listing, im not sure if you mean 10 per page or 10 period per category. If you mean category, we are shoting for slection so we actually will be slowly adding new products daily to eac category. If you mean per page and i think that is what you do mean that is very easinly changed. It is set at 20 right now. I will keep it in mind. Thanks!

Couple thoughts:
When I subscribed to your newsletter, under interests, there wasn't a category for birds. I like to feed my wild feathered friends :>
I was also wondering how your shipping works. Before I buy online I always look into that. Is it free, is it a % of the order or is it $3.99 when I spend between $10 and $20...
I agree about the grainy cart and lock pics needing a redo. They are a bit destracting.

I'll be forwarding your website on to family and friends.

As ive said quite a few times (you are new here i believe so dont take this as a "why didn't you listen" deal) but we still have a few design changes to make along with a very large amount of products to upload in the next couple months. We havent launched the store yet.

As for shipping if you click on the info link it explains the shipping policy very well. That is another thing we will be chnaging in the near future also. We will be changing it to you just pay what we pay. We are constructing a pretty neat.... and what i call our "breakeven shipping policy"

Also in each product section below the description of the products we will have a few links for "quick info" i like to call it which will bring up some small popup windows. They will be "why should i shop here?", "how much will i pay for shipping", and something to do with satisfaction guarantee. This is more or less for the people that come into the store from a search engine from searching for a specific product.

As said before the shopping cart pics will be taken out before we launch and more then likely be replaced with nice ones.

Thanks for the heads up on the newsletter.... That was just a simple error in my part.

Any other questions....fell free to ask!
Thanks

Michelle-

I added Wild Birds to the newsletter interests. I may not even have wild bird products on the website. Im not sure yet ( i know that i have a few on there right now).

I also added a "return back to....." link after you sign up, something that people wanted.

Thanks

Just wanted to let you know that i took your advice but just half way. I decided to do 15 products per page instead of 10...so its half way in between what we had and what you thought.

Thanks

Not a 'big fat oops' at all - if you missed the link then it's not doing it's job! I too agree that shipping is an important factor, so a link on the homepage that says 'Our shipping policy' would make me feel much happier! Have taken another look at the site and I still don't see anything on shipping costs.

Ive allready said a few times that issue has been put on the list of updates before we launch before i even started this thread, but i appreiciate the thought.

Here is what we plan on doing to address the issue.

-We are changing our shipping policy to actual UPS rates.
-We will have a graphic on the top header that says something like "save on shipping with our breakeven shipping policy"

-We also plan on having a link on each product page that says "how much is shipping?" that they can click on quick to find out.

Any other suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Hey Joey,

Just wanted to let you know.. that I rechecked your site at work - just for fun and to see if anything changed... and i wanted to point something out.

At work i have my settings changed to a personal color scheme... and how you have your website (white) shows up white around your boxes etc.. but where the website is left to change or is altered per color scheme (for example - i have a plum color) the spaces show up plum.. so it looks like patchwork... you should edit your html to make sure the whole page stays white...

im not sure if im explaining myself properly but its kinds like where you have a certain font for you website... but some fonts might change if the person viewing it wants it in comic sans....

ok la la.. just figured id let you know

oh also... do you have the testimonials on a loop or circulating thru entries? I dont think you should post negative testimonials...lol (the one about beth with her package left in the rain - ) or is that just a sample? but why would you put a negative sample?
