Hey guys. I was roaming these forums about 3-4 months ago, looks for some ideas on how to start a business (here and here )Talked to MXer210 and he got me interested in E-commerce with his PureFiveAudio store.

Here I am three months later with a my site Gator Supplements . I've been working on the idea/site for all that time, going to sleep around 3-4AM almost everynight. Launched the site on the 6th and got 4 sales so far. Slowly starting to get traffic, backlinks, etc.

So check it out and tell me what you think!

Just a little about me: I am 20, currently live in Denver, Colorado. Went to University of Denver for a year for Intnl Business; about to transfer to Pepperdine to continue...

Quick note, he actually uses monster commerce shopping cart, not oscommerce.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I am using Monster Commerce as my storefront/cart software - a little pricey, but a lot of extra features and flexibility.

As for advertising, I ran an Adwords campaign on Google for 5 days - got a few sales from that. Other than that, it's word of mouth for the most part at the moment - related forums, a few backlinks, friends, etc. I have a professional SEO (search engine optimizer) working with me on this, he knows all the ins and outs of online promotion and advertising, so we'll blow up pretty quick.

Very easy to navigate. Great work. A shame you don't ship in Asia though... GNC sells your products at stratospheric prices! Which is why I don't buy Optimum Protein Powder, Celltech, and Designer Whey anymore. Heavy on the pocket.

But you're off to a great start with an e-commerce site like yours!
