Hey guys, well I have been thinking now for a cuple of months on starting my own online business. I have been searching online a lot, and found a lot of website offering get rich quick schemes, which I honeslty dont buy. I was looking at starting off with a Drop Shipper and seliing through EBay at first. I dont have really anything to sell from my house, since I moved recently and already got ride of almost everything I can think of to sell.

I was looking at EBay and found some websites that they certify as dropshippers, and one cuaght my eye, Doba.com. I liked it because it is certified by EBay, and also by BBB. So I know its not a scam. Also if I later want to build my own website I can still use to provide my supply. The reason I picked this was because I dont have the money to start stocking inventory, nor do I have the storage to put it in.

Any suggestions on this would be great, if anyone has other ideas, that would be great,

Hi,
I been down this road many times. I would suggest you look around, there are few major drop shippers that you can sign up with but most of them you have to pay annual fee. Becareful, some site may be established and looks good but they could be drop shipper's themselves and selling it to you for slightly higher.

I believe yahoo has one thats established and one other site that I can't think of right now. It's been a while I was in drop ship business but you can make it work. Look for good prices on multiple drop ship places and don't soley rely on one source.

Yeah I have found a couple of sources, some of them promising riches, Yeah Right, but other do seem legite, like worldwidebrands.com, and theshipper.com, wich are both BBB certified, so I know they are safe. So I will keep searching around. The last two that I mentioned only have you pay a one time low fee, and the lists are updated yearly so they look good to me.

okay both of those sites looks alright to me but my main point was..
look at all these sites for prices! all these sites are established and reliable sources but one could have different prices than others.

bottom line, your profit margin will be relied upon what prices you can get the items, how much you are selling it for, and most importantly.. is it worth your time to sell that item?

I signed up for Doba, until they asked for a credit card. It felt kinda wierd so I googled them. The prices they offer are not wholesale prices. They are not a cheap drop shipper. So i stopped there. So far I have received 5 phone calls from them, tons of emails, and they are starting to piss me off.
