Simple Question

If I have shop software like ShopFactory, is all I need for my website a host (goDaddy,HostGator etc) and a domain name? Do I need to pay for say GoDaddy's Shopping Cart do-dah?

Plus a merchant account and SSL Certificate

I'm an open source kind of person. There are multiple free shopping cart applications that are top notch and don't cost money. Do a search on this forum and there is a high amount of data about them. To answer your question, I don't know much about ShopFactory. I went to the website and if it is decent you will need webspace with a database and you won't need godaddys cart. You will need a domain name and some kind of merchant account, such as paypal. Judging by your questions you my want to do a lot more reading about the subject at hand before actually spending hard earned money to open a store.
