Seo For My Website

Hi, I would like to know how to get my rankings up for different keywords for my website. Like for example the keyword "kinetic picture" under google and yahoo, if you type that my website is comming up # 1. Honestly, I have no idea how hell it came up # 1. But I have about another 5-6 keywords that need to be optomized, can someone please help me out. I need to know what needs to be done exactly, I know it takes time but I would really like input on this!

thanks,
Kineticpicture.com

The reason your showing up #1 for "kinetic picture" is because there is only 175 search requests a month for that keyword. Although raking for any relevant keyword is ok, it's best to rank well for keywords that are searched at least 1000+ to have any affect.

Meaning you will get less than 30 hits a month from that particular keyword. Which is how many hits this site got while I read your thread.

There is no competition for it, but more importantly, no one is searching the web using that word.

So there is no value.

You need to do some research to find out what "heavy" keywords are relevant to your site.

But before any more discussion, what exactly are you doing / have done SEO wise thus far?

versas is partly right, there is not that much search volume. There are still many pages that google finds for that. The reason your site is showing up is because your domain name is the keyword. Google feels its more relevant.

If you are still interested in getting some SEO work done, you can PM me. I have services that undercut price and time that a lot of SEO companies charge a lot more money for.

The site looks good

Your site is looking good, and the keywording is ok. Google is big on content, the more text you can put in about your keyword the better. Talk about similar things that those keywords revolve around and whatnot.

I could try to put more sentence-like working and frases in your page title, instead of just keywords totally. Some search engines hate that, mainly if you have too many keywords.

My advise is to test different text and content and give reasonable time to see how the search engines react. I'd say about 2-3 weeks, depending on how fast your site is indexed by the search engines.

Good Luck

Correction.

Google is big on backlinks, MSN is big on content.

That doesn't prove from the test smy company has done on our SEO. There is no sure answer to what Google wants most, they wouldn't publish that for people to overcome google that easy...You may have read or heard backlinks, but that doesn't do it for us.

So you insult me?

The text is light on my site so I don't know anything about SEO?

Our site makes money and it's pretty and SEO'ed professionally.

You have a below average pr, an Alexa of 1.2 million and you carry very low quality products.

Google preferring backlinks over any other SEO method is common knowledge in the SEM community.

Our holding company which owns my site is a world class SEO service provider serving the largest companies on the web.

I have extensive experience in SEO, your site is an Alexa of over one million. What do you know of SEO?

Search the web, do some research, you will see that Google does in fact prefer backlinks for SERP than anyyting else by far.

They even state this on Google's website.

Watch what you say and how you say it.

Your a fool and JaJa.

Peace out Girl Scout.
