When trying to get you website out there, do y'all find it is easy to do by yourself or better to pay someone?

I know it takes time and hard work and I just don't think I have the time it takes to serioulsy try to get my business out there as much as I would like to. Thinking about paying someone to do it but not sure if this is a wise investment or if I should just try to keep doing it after the reglar 9-5. Any input??

The amount of work and time to effectively "SEO" your website will far surpass the amount of work and time you put into your actual website.

This is true from start, middle and the life of your website.

However the payoff if done right is vast.

Organic visitors (hits from natural search engine searches) are inarguably the most effective and valuable form of website traffic on the web.

The holy grail of site traffic yet common.

You get what you work for.

But you won't always get what you pay for if paying someone to do it for you.

If able to, it's best to learn yourself and do it yourself.

However, if you do pay someone, first look at their own website stats;

1)Google PR

2)Alexa Rank

3)Compete Rank

4)Trust Gage Level

Any official SEO firm should have high stats for all above. Some may argue that those stats don't mean much, but that's all we have as a universal status ranks.

And most importantly find out what websites they already SEO'ed and see what and how they rank in search engines.
