I thought i would post this because i was shocked when i heard it. As long as i can remember QVC has been around and im sure the same goes with all of you. I found out this morning that QVC products are all dropshipped. Now i dont know if this is just for thier online store or even if its just for certain categories of thier products they sell. But it does go to show you that if you actually find the right person to do your shipping for you it is just as good as having your own warehouse and buying the inventory yourself.

Yeah most people have known this for a long time. Most of those companies do drop ship. You find a good warehouse that can supply and its a gold mine, NO overhead, no expenses. I guess if you can find a reliable enough one then you are making a ton of money. Cool.

Well i currently am using the same warehouse as QVC is... so it better be a goldmine soon lol...
What shocked me is i was surprised that a huge company like that didnt just have a huge warehouse and cut out the middle man. Maybe on some products they dropship cause its just as cost effective for them to buy thru a distributor and not have to buy real large amounts to get volume discounts from the manufactuerers.
