Quixtar

ok so a friend of mine is doing this program where you are a middle man for this one line of energy drinks called XS and a bunch of their other products. I was wondering if Quixtar is legit. I don't know much about it i just want to give my homeboy a heads up so he doesn't do something he might regret. They charge for a web domain its like 25 dollars a month and they charge between 150 and 200 for an Independent business owner license.

stay away from this rubbish

pose your self the question of; "what are best practices for opportunity selection?"

to answer, start reading stuff like vc diligence criteria

as an investor, you need to formulate an investment thesis and have a checklist of the things you look for in any given opportunity

wow, some people really need to be more understanding of others. I'm in no way a fan of quixtar, but for some people its the best hope they have. It doesn't work for everyone, just like being an entrepreneur doesn't work for everyone. There's only one way to find out.

If he's paying $150 to $200 just to become an IBO, then he's over paying. The actual license is around $35 or $50 I think. But depending on who his trainer is, they will set him up with a starter package that does cost additional, so thats what the additional startup fees are for.

Companies like Quixtar (especially Quixtar though) have gotten a lot of bad rep in the past and present just because the company puts a lot of power in the hands of their independent contractors and those are the people who screw things up, so the general public gets a bad mindset about the company itself.

Quixtar is a decent organization if that is your only hope in life, BUT it severely depends on your upline/trainer. You have to have a good one or else it will just be a waste of time. Every trainer says they are good, so you really have to do your homework. Plus, "the business" isn't easy, its just as hard as anything else you would want to do, so a major key to success is working hard. Plus, their 6 month or 12 month plans never work for anyone (ok, maybe 1 or 2 people out of thousands), but their 5 year plan is a little more realistic, but figure more like 10 years to be stable at the platinum level, even if you work really hard.

There's a lot more I could say, I don't want to make this too long though. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Plus, I would be very careful about taking advice from people who leave hypocritical posts such as dablackdon did. If you look in his website under "Businesses and Companies I own" there is at least 1 that is extremely similar to Quixtar. Kind of odd I thought, it goes against the advice that he gave to you.

Quixtar is crap to me, a friend of mine of was doing that, with his family. They kept trying to persuade me to join saying if I do this I will have financial freedom, but out of them all, none of them have seen any form of financial freedom, and then one of my clients tried to put me down on that, I was like hell no! Just my personal opinion.

Its another one of those chain level programs, you are better off selling mary kay, avon or tupperware.

Atleast if you do well in mary kay, you get to drive that flashy pink pearl cadillac !

HA! No, I do not do MLM programs. After testing and experimenting with mlm's success or failure is better to create and develop your own affiliate program (non-mlm).

I don't want to get into an argument, but its just amazing that you don't see it. The Greatest Vitamin in the World is an mlm program and your "independent advertiser" link is:
dontforgettotakeyourvitamins.com/burton1860

I'm not saying anything is wrong with being part of it, just don't say you hate things and you aren't involved when you obviously are involved in one of these programs.

Be cool kid, no need to get heated. Facts are facts though.
